How are Amphibexes designed to respect the environment? š±
Each component of the machines is designed to cause the least possible disturbance to the fauna and flora surrounding the work sites. As an example, the propulsion system reduces vibrations and can be adjusted by a hydraulic pitch system for shallow water. All hydraulic oils used in the mechanical systems are vegetable-based and biodegradable to prevent contamination due to potential leaks. šš½
In addition to participating in day-to-day environmental operations, Amphibexes are manufactured in a low carbon environment and trees are planted every year to offset the environmental footprint of their manufacture. š³

We know tailings storage facilities (TSF) play a major role in many mining operations around the world, we know also that every individual pond is unique. However, for over 30 years we didnāt stop innovating to build a versatile dredger able to challenge any harsh environment, shallow water even in some places where you don't plan to use a dredger to recover the leftover of any mined ore production to maximise your income.
At Kirkland Lake mine in Ontario, our Amphibex allowed to recover up to 7 ounces of gold per ton where other conventional dredging didnāt succeed. Amphibex, made it possible to extend operations for another 4 years before closing permanently.
